A solo-built EdTech company founded in Sweden has received global recognition.
MathQuizily has been ranked #372 in TIME and Statista's World's Top EdTech Companies 2026.
The ranking was created through a data-based research project evaluating thousands of education technology companies according to financial performance and industry impact. The final 2026 ranking includes 500 companies from around the world.
One founder. Global recognition.
MathQuizily has largely been designed, developed and grown by founder Edin Adilagic, a maths and physics teacher with more than 13 years of classroom experience.
There was no large development department, major sales organisation or huge marketing budget behind the journey.
There was one clear idea:
> Help teachers create better, personalised and printable mathematics assessments faster.
MathQuizily now supports teachers creating classroom-ready maths papers across KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level.
What MathQuizily helps teachers create
MathQuizily allows teachers to generate:
• Printable maths test papers
- •Worked answers and mark schemes
- •Balanced easy, medium and hard questions
- •Equivalent A/B versions
- •GCSE Foundation and Higher papers
- •Calculator and non-calculator assessments
- •Curriculum-aware questions
- •Professionally formatted PDF downloads
The UK platform is already built around printable assessments, worked answers, balanced difficulty and equivalent test versions without requiring pupil accounts.
A different approach to EdTech
Many education platforms require pupils to spend more time using screens.
MathQuizily takes a different approach.
AI is used by the teacher to prepare the assessment, while pupils can complete the final test on paper. This keeps the teacher in control and avoids requiring student accounts or additional classroom screen time.
Founder statement
"Being recognised alongside established global EdTech companies is difficult to put into words. It shows that a focused company built largely by one founder can create technology with international relevance. This is not the finish line. It is motivation to keep improving MathQuizily and supporting more teachers around the world."
— Edin Adilagic, Founder and CEO of MathQuizily
